Awesome cycling tour around Pangkor.

Initially, Helmy ensured that he wanted to wake up at 7am on the second day to check out the bicycles at somewhere near the resort where we stayed since we planned to go for a cycling tour around the island, but ended up he woke up at almost 11am. :S After all the preparations and breakfast, we started our self-planned cycling tour at around 12am wtf. Fortunately trees were everywhere so we didn't have to expose ourselves to the bright sun as if we went for sunbath.

However, since I woke up at around 6.30am, the Badman and I decided to go out for a walk to enjoy the fresh air. In the meantime, we continued our exploration around Teluk Nipah even though the stalls were still closed until 9am.

Hello! :D

When we first saw this on the first day, we couldn't stop laughing because of their creativity of setting up a karaoke station for anyone who would like to sing in such a public place. I'm not going to tell about their singings, though. :P

This head's funny yet cute. :)

There're more creative ideas about the signboards of ikan bakar but these are the most interesting ones. ;)

We saw about 4 or 5 hornbills around Hornbill Resort too! It's so amazing that they actually appeared in Pulau Pangkor, without anyone keeping them as pets I guessed. I know I sound like a frog living at the bottom of a well – a person with a limited outlook but indeed, I had never seen hornbills flying everywhere like what I saw in Teluk Nipah.

Photobucket

It wasn't afraid of the people. I even saw one of them looking for food in the dustbin.

Once we're done, we immediately started our cycling tour before it's too late. Only Helmy, Fahmi, the Badman, and I joined the tour, for your information, whilst the other three girls hung around Teluk Nipah and slept. I was the only girl among the four of us.

I chose this bicycle at the end. Unfortunately, the brake rubber was sort of melted until I could hardly go up the hill. My legs were both in great pain when there's still halfway to go to arrive at the town near the jetty. :'(

To my surprise, there's this garbage disposal plant in Pulau Pangkor with a destructor nearby. It's horribly smelly when we passed by, and a funny conversation with broken English happened between me and Helmy.

"Ewww, they actually have this place over here."
"Ya, they have."
"Then they won't make the water dirty meh?"
"No, they will burn it."
"Oh, then they will make the sky dirty lah!"

LOL! Whenever I recall it, I would laugh because I sound pretty stupid especially the part "they will make the sky dirty" wtf.

After taking so many rests because of all the slopes which were literally like where we must pass through whenever we go to Genting Highland, it started raining heavily before we arrived at the town. Fortunately, there's this shelter nearby the place we took a short break. Just for the sake of my camera that cost my dad almost RM4000, we're forced to stop by the shelter until it became only fine drizzling rain. I'm sorry. :(

He's an all-time-excited guy. :|

Our bicycles were being kept away from the rain as well so that our butts wouldn't get wet after that.

Fahmi's a poser with and without Helmy's sunglasses. X)

We were resting with the companion of more and more monkeys around the trees. They're damn scary as if they're trying to come closer to attack us but these monkeys with supposedly, a mummy and her child, were really cute and heartwarming. :)

We passed by this place and Fahmi who likes to be adventurous decided to cycle through a jungle to explore about the drawbridge. I was pretty scared because there's no one around, and we didn't know what would happen if we go further inside. Helmy and I stayed with the bicycles, while the Badman and Fahmi went to check out the drawbridge.

Photobucket

It's just a usual rule of a drawbridge.

By the way, according to Fahmi, this drawbridge wasn't well-maintained so it's not too safe to walk on it I think. There's no security guard at all, in fact.

This monkey was found at one of the stops where we took our rest. It's so damn fierce that it didn't afraid of anyone and it showed us its teeth. It even walked towards us until we brought our bicycles away from it in case it wanted to attack us. At the same stop, we even saw two monkeys fucking on the tree wtf! XD

We bought a few bottles of 100 Plus once we arrived at the town as we're all so hungry and thirsty. Like finally, I exchanged my bicycle with Fahmi because he knew how exhausted I was after such a long journey. However, my legs were already pretty weak at the moment so exchanging bicycle actually didn't help much. But, still, thanks a gazillion times for his kindness, from the bottom of my heart. :)

This tour had taken up approximately 4 hours to complete. We're so damn exhausted yet after all the hardships we went through together, by the time we arrived, the sense of accomplishment was so strong and the happiness was indeed unexplainable. I could finally smile happily after all the killing moments throughout the tour. Nonetheless, I had been troubling Helmy and Fahmi a lot as well, especially all the waits when I was pushing my bicycle up the hills. Fahmi, in case you're reading this, thank you so much for helping me out when you knew there were dogs nearby before I approached them or else, I might be frightened and something serious might happen.

Frankly, I have so many apologies and thanks to tell even though they said it's alright. And surely, I never stop missing this cycling tour since then. :D
